the history of redemption

| holidays

having a cyclist as a husband, you can imagine why christopher koelle has always been one of our favorite artists.  originally from chicago, he has a long history of sketching bike art, and even illustrated the popular book, bike snob!  as we have collected a few of his prints, i try to keep up with him and his wife's work at sweet ride and koelle art.  when i had the honor of meeting him at the indie craft parade, he told me he was working on the illustrations for a new book called the history of redemption.  i'm so excited that it has finally been released, and had to share it with you!

the history of redemption

the book originated from a sermon that was preached in november of 2007, where scripture from genesis to revelation was memorized and preached as a way of reminding God's people of the great story of their redemption.

the history of redemption

the text from that sermon is what makes up the text for the the history of redemption and has now been brought to life through christopher koelle's vivid artistry.

the book was designed as a tool for anyone to use in helping them memorize the history of redemption and encouraging them to share it with others.

as the Christmas season is upon us, this book is in perfect timing so that we can remember what the holiday is all about.  whether for a gift to someone else or to yourself, during Christmas or any other time, this is truly a beautiful book.  i think reading it would be a wonderful addition to the tradition of reading the night before christmas each year!
