puff daddy diy

attention, knitters! will you make me one of these? ;)

we've all seen one fabulous puffy pouf after another, but their beauty and functionality seem to always be accompanied by a hefty price tag. well, if you know how to knit, this pouf pattern from pickles will have you making knitted stools in no time. while you're there, make sure to check out their lovely yarn and buttons, too!

  • Oh my gosh! Bookmark! Bookmark! I’ve been looking for just such a pattern!

  • Well, I don’t know about knitting, but crocheting one of these would be a piece of cake. Just start with a Hat shape, then reverse when you get to the middle. It would take a lot of yarn though, which is probably why they are so expensive.

  • what size duvet did you use? twin/queen/king/full

    • i jennifer! i’m not sure what you’re referring to?

  • You know what would be great to use to make these? Knitted blankets! You can find some at goodwill or other thrift stores…very inexpensive and much easier than knitting one up :) I’ll be making some soon for my girl’s room :)

  • I love Tina’s idea of using a knitted blanket to make one of these. It would be a great way to recycle an old blanket that has sentiment.

  • What stitch is used on the blue pouf? Thank you for sharing.

  • Beautiful poufs!
