hello, bear by bonnie christine (9)

i'm so happy to say that hello, bear is now available! this collection for art gallery fabrics is one that is near and dear to my heart, as of course, it was inspired by my sweet son, bear (picture below)! hello, bear tells a meaningful story of adventure and wonder. it was inspired by seeing the wilderness through a new set of eyes and all the wonders it comes with!

the best way to dive into the collection is to view the newly released hello, bear lookbook where young at heart explorers are invited to frolic and listen to the playful voices of the wilderness. illustrated with woodsy tones like pastel moss, conifer and bark, my hope is that hello, bear comes alive with nature's patterns of magic and love.

you can find out if your nearest independent quilt and fabric shop is currently stocked with hello, bear or is planning on it!

or, if you're part of the growing consumer base that prefers to shop online, you can check out the website list here (also available online and in stores through my mom's quilt shop, a stitch in time with free shipping!).

of course, i designed the collection with young ones in mind, but quickly realized that this line wouldn't only be for children! i've fallen in love with several of the prints for myself, and can't wait to make some clothing and handbags out of it. the collection also includes 4 knits and 2 voiles, perfect for sewing clothing and more drapy home decor items!

  • I just love this line – and I am not thinking only for my kiddos! I’m already imagining all of the beautiful smaller-scale prints in a quilt – my favorites are ‘timberland’ ‘summit’ and ‘firefly’ :) The lookbook is beautiful too – congratulations Bonnie!

  • This collection is so beautiful, Bonnie! It is so apparent that much love went into this one and it makes the whole ensemble so beautiful and special! I adore the curtains in the lookbook and the art prints are so perfect for a little woodland adventure nursery! I tried to decide which pattern is my favorite, but I just love them all! I can’t wait to start creating with these fabrics. =) Congratulations!

    much love,
    erin

  • I think this is my new favorite fabric line! Awesome job! I can’t wait to start sewing with it!

  • What a sweet, sweet collection. It’s got to be so amazing to not only have custom bedding for your baby, but to also have designed the fabric AND a line of fabric for him! What a blessing! I just recently bought some fat quarters of your sweet as honey collection. Looks like I’ll need to do that for Hello Bear too! lol!

  • I love everything in your line, can’t wait to use it in my Grandaughter’s nursery, quick question, where did you get the prints shown in the nursery picture and the angled shelf/clothesrack is amazing too. Where can I find those to complete Hazel’s nursery?

    • hey barb! i’ll have the prints available for sale this week (i’ll announce them here soon)! the shelf isn’t mine, maybe you could ask art gallery fabrics?
